Instructions:
1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C for fan ovens) or as per the instructions on the puff pastry package.
2. Prepare the Tartlets: a. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. b. Cut out small squares or circles (about 3 inches in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet. c. Score a border around each tartlet, about 1/2 inch from the edge.
3. Assemble the Tartlets: a. Spread a generous layer of walnut cheese within the scored borders of each tartlet. b. Spoon a dollop of red onion chutney on top of the walnut cheese. c. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. d. In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush the edges of the tartlets with the egg wash.
5. Bake:
